MONDAY ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

 

Driver Education Session (Tualla; 5/15)

The summer Driver Ed. session presently has only 13 opening left. The limit for this session will be 40 , so if you plan to attend please register as soon as possible because opening spots will fill up quickly. Last day to register is May 17 or when the session is full. Registration must be completed at the Moon Valley bookstore with Mrs.Kara Martin.
BOOKSTORE (Holt; 5/5- 5/16)

Graduation Extra Tickets will be going on sale Monday, May 8th and will end Wednesday, May 17th .  You can only purchase what you requested.  The price is $5 for each extra ticket.  CASH OR MONEY ORDER ONLY.

Yearbook (Marshall; 5/12- 5/24)

Yearbooks are in and available for purchase. They are $65 and limited in number, so hurry and purchase yours before they are gone!

Shane’s Rib Shack (Marshall- 5/12)

Everybody love Barbeque and Shane’s Rib Shack will be here every Monday to bring you’re their tasty barbeque. You will have the option to purchase a shredded barbeque sandwich or buffalo chicken strips with chips for $5.00.

Bookstore (Holt; 5/15)

BOOK STORE CLOSED:

The Bookstore will be closed on May 16th from 8 am – 11 am.  AUDIT will be taking place, no interruptions please.

 P3 Student Stretch Award (Frazen; 5/15)

For several years, P3 has presented the Stretch Award.  The Stretch Award recognizes students who have shown growth over the year in areas of: attendance, academics and attitude.  Teachers recommend students and they are honored at the Evening of Excellence as well as with a STRETCH Limo Lunch!

On Tuesday, May 23rd Stewart, Ashley, Owen and their choice of friend will be chauffeured in a stretch limousine to Chase Field to have lunch at Fridays Front Row Grill courtesy of P3. 

P3 Golden Rule Teacher Award (Frazen; 5/15)

The Golden Rule Award winner is also invited to attend this Limo Lunch!  The Golden Rule Award recognizes a teacher who has gone out of his or her way to make a difference. Numerous students wrote letters this year and The 2017 Golden Rule Award Recipient goes to Ms. Knapp!  Congratulations!

BOOK RETURN FOR STUDENTS:

ALL STUDENTS:  It is that time of the year to turn in your schoolbooks that you have at home.  All the books need to be turned in by Friday, May 19th.  If you do not turn them in you will be charged for the book until the return.

AP Biology  (Ditto;  5/16– 5/18)

Attention!  All students enrolled in AP Biology for the upcoming school year, there is a mandatory meeting Thursday after school in Mr. Ditto’s classroom room 114A at 2:45pm.  You will be receiving important information regarding your summer assignment.  Please be there!!!

Art Show (Cramer; 5/16)

The award winners for the art show are posted at the top and bottom of the stairwells and in the visual arts classrooms. Take a look and see if your favorite piece won a ribbon award!

Chess Team preparing to earn their very first spot in the Varsity State Team Tournament NEXT Team season!  Everyone is invited to join us NOW and bring a friend along to play.  Team Competition is just around the “Castle,” so come be a part of Patriot Chess Nation!

Surge on Campus/Elevate I.H.S. (Bolton; Foster; Badini; 5/17)

The Elevate I.H.S./Surge Christian Fellowship Club will be having a “special” End-of-the-School-Year Celebration of Life and Successful completion of another school year for EVERYONE TODAY, Wednesday, May 17th after school at the PAC Quad area next to the “bottom-of-the-hill.”  We’re excited to have you join us for FREE food & drinks, so be sure and grab any friends and bring them along. See YOU there and as always…remember that U R loved!

Young Environmentalist’s Club (Bolton; 5/18)

The Young Environmentalist’s Club will be holding its last meeting THIS, Thursday May 18th for ALL members, including our JR. ROTC partners right after school in Room B24!  We will be collecting recyclable paper and cardboard.  Teachers, please be sure to bring your recyclable paper to ANY of the downstairs’ prep rooms, main office copy room, Media Center copy room or next to room 114A if you are not available for classroom pick-up after school from 2:45-3:15. 

Link Crew (Hadley 5/18)

Calling all 2017 – 2018 Link Leaders!  If you received a Link Crew acceptance letter last Friday, make sure to be in the main gym today at 3pm for May Day!

Cross Country (Groseta; 4/18)

Cross Country! There will be a short meeting for everyone interested in Cross Country next year in Coach Groseta’s room, B13, right after school tomorrow. Friday, 2:45, B13

Super End of the Year Smoothie Sale!

Smoothies will be on sale in the Pit Stop for $1.00 each while supplies last! This is a one day only sale!!

Volleyball (Monaghan; 5/18)

Attention student’s boys volleyball open gym has been canceled for the day; however, there will still be girls open gym today. 

 

FRIDAY ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

 

Driver Education Session (Tualla; 5/19)

The Driver Ed. class is now full for this summer. Class will be in Building 7 in Room 704. Classes will be on May 30 ,31 and June 1 from 8:00 a.m. to noon each day. You need to bring a pen or pencil to class each day. You must complete all 12 hour of class instruction before doing Behind-the-Wheel . See you on May 30 at 8:00 a.m.
