Information:  The following books will be available for purchase in the bookstore:

Every Day:

Independence Food Drive has begun! Help out those in need and help Independence get 1st place this year. Bring in your canned food items to classrooms with food drive boxes. If you bring in 6 cans to the attendance office, you can avoid a lunch detention.

Counseling Dept (Dr. Rodriguez; 11/7)

Free College Classes: Glendale Community College Hoop of Learning is offering Native American Students scholarships for free college classes. The phone number is (623)845-3094.  Applications are available online atwww.gccaz.edu/hoop-of-learning. See your counselor if you have questions. 

Key Club (Pampel; 11/4- 11/18)

Do you have to much stuff in your closet? Key Club has a way to help. Bring your unwanted clothing to the clothing drive on November 19th. We will be at the front of the school in the bus drop off zone from 10am to Noon. If you cannot make it to the school Saturday feel free to bring your clothing donations to room R-14 before Saturday, November 19th.

Shane’s Rib Shack (Marshall; 11/7)

Everybody love Barbeque and Shane’s Rib Shack will be here every Monday to bring you’re their tasty barbeque. You will have the option to purchase a shredded barbeque sandwich or buffalo chicken strips with chips for $5.00.

 Art 1-2 (Cramer; 11/7)

Did you have Art 1-2 last year? If you had Art 1-2 with Ms. Cramer or Mrs. Hopeman your PBA drawings from last year have arrived. See Ms. Cramer in room 232 to come pick up your pencil drawing of silverware.

West-MEC (Koole; 11/7- 11/8)

Are you looking for a career in beauty and wellness? Are you interested in applying for a West-MEC program? There is an open house at West-MEC’s Deer Valley campus this Tuesday from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.  The Deer Valley campus houses the Cosmetology, Massage Therapy, and the Aesthetician program. Bring your parents for a hands-on look at these exciting programs and remember…you get more points on your application if you attend an OPEN HOUSE!  Stop by the Counseling Office for more information!

If you are signed up to attend the Arizona Thespian Festival this year, there will be a short meeting in Ms. Farsons room today, Thursday, after school at 2:45pm. Please come for important information and paperwork that is needed for attending the festival.
