Your Glow Out, Blow Out Dance will be held on March 9th from 7-10 pm. Tickets on sale in the mall area during lunch this week for $5, March 3-9 $7, and $10 at the door.

Monday Crazy Sock Day—have fun with your feet
Tuesday Artist vs. Athlete Day—dress up as your favorite music artist or in athletic wear
Wednesday Meme Day—recreate your favorite school appropriate meme
Thursday Glam Day—red carpet ready
Friday Squad Day—freshmen wear red, sophomores white, juniors blue, and seniors red/white/blue
Band/Orchestra/Colorguard Concert (3/2- 3/8)
Come see your Independence Bands and Orchestra in action Thursday, March 8 at 7PM in the Auditorium.  Featured will be the Intermediate Band, Symphonic Band, Orchestra, Midnight Rider Jazz Band and the Winter Colorguard.  Admission is FREE!

Prom Tickets will be going on sale and if you have more than a $6.00 fine on your account, you WILL NOT be able to purchase the tickets until all the BOOKS, MONEY OR ITEMS ARE returned.  REMEMER you must have your ID to purchase the ticket.  If you have any questions, just come to the bookstore.

Everybody love Barbeque and Shane’s Rib Shack will be here every Monday to bring you their tasty barbeque. You have the option to purchase a shredded barbeque sandwich or buffalo chicken strips with chips for $5.00.
Hiking Club (Ms. Chandler, Ms. Mitchell; 3/5)
Patriots: We will be returning to White Tank Mountain Regional Park for the next IHS Hiking Club trip! Please join us for a planning meeting on Wednesday, March 7th at 8:20 am in Room 121. See Ms. Chandler or Ms. Mitchell if you are interested in the hike but unable to attend the meeting.

Elevate I.H.S.(Bolton, Foster, Barrett; 3/6)
Elevate I.H.S. (Surge) Christian Fellowship Club will gather TOMORROW, Wednesday morning before school at the school flagpole for our monthly “meet you at the flag pole” gathering for the positive intentions of our school’s student body, faculty, staff, and admin.  FREE Donuts and/or juice/milk will be available while supplies last! We will also meet after school as usual on Wednesday the 7th at 2:45 in Mr. Bolton’s room B-24 for anyone that wants to join us for fellowship, food, and discuss upcoming events.  ALL current Elevate I.H.S. Attention Art Club, Anytown and Unitown members that are painting the sunflower paintings. Art Club has been moved to Thursday this week due to a teacher meeting. Ms. Cramer will be doing a painting demonstration on Thursday at 2:45 in room 232. You will also be collecting and mixing your paint. Please show up and do not be late.
Pre-ACT (Counseling; 3/6)
Attention Sophomores who have signed up for the Pre-ACT! There is a mandatory pre bubbling session you must attend on Wednesday March 7th at 7:30 AM in the Mini Auditorium. See you there.

Guest forms for prom are now available in the attendance office. You need to be passing all your classes in order to have the form approved. The forms are due back on FRIDAY APRIL 20th NO EXCEPTIONS. Your guest may not be over the age of 19. The dance is a formal dance.

Our weekly P-ACT prep for juniors will be happening Thursday, March 8th in room R-24 at 2:45. This meeting is open to all Juniors looking to increase their scores on the upcoming P-ACT. Come have fun, meet some new people, and earn some free money for college.  See you at 2:45 in R-24.
