Prom Tickets will be going on sale and if you have more than a $6.00 fine on your account, you WILL NOT be able to purchase the tickets until all the BOOKS, MONEY OR ITEMS ARE returned.  REMEMER you must have your ID to purchase the ticket.  If you have any questions, just come to the bookstore.

Drivers Ed Session (St. Pierre; 3/12- 4/4)

Drivers Ed session four starts Saturday April 7th at Moon Valley High School. You need a valid driver's permit and student student ID. Deadline to register is April 4th. Register at the Moon Valley Book Store. Please bring pencil and paper to the sessions. Class starts at 8AM sharp. See you there.

Volleyball open gym this week will be Monday and Thursday from 4pm- 6pm.

Senior Bash (Ziance; 3/28- 4/13)

Reminder: Senior Bash tickets are on sale for $10 until the 6th. The 9th-13th, they will be $12.  Tickets are on sale before/after school in Ms. Ziance’s room B18 or during both lunches in the mall area. The price includes one meal from a food truck of your choice and entry into the event. You may buy more than one ticket.  Please note: you cannot buy tickets at the event—pre-sale only.

Free Physicals (Fitzgerald; 3/29- 4/6)

Hey Patriots who plan to play sports next year: It’s time to get a free physical. The date is Saturday, April 7th. The bus leaves at 7:30 AM. Stop by the Athletics office to get the paperwork and get it signed by your parents. This is absolutely free and a great way to get a head start for next year! Pick up your paperwork TODAY!

Shanes Rib Shack (Marshall; 4/2)

Everybody love Barbeque and Shane’s Rib Shack will be here every Monday to bring you’re their tasty barbeque. You will have the option to purchase a shredded barbeque sandwich or buffalo chicken strips with chips for $5.00.

Your school store, the Patriot Hut, resumes normal hours today.  We’ll have warm foods like pizza, macaroni and cheese and corndogs at both lunches.  Or stop by for a snack and cold drink after school. 

Hoop of Learning-Native American Students (Dr. Rodriguez; April 4-6)

Native American Students, this is an opportunity for free Classes at Glendale Community College. GCC is offering a College Experience early outreach program.  Native American Students have many resources available and free classes. The orientation will be Saturday, April 7th from 12-4 PM. Call GCC at (623)845-3094 to register or go to http://bit.ly/hoop-college-experience-2018.   See your counselor if you have questions.

Attention Sophomores who have taken the Pre-ACT! Your test scores are in! Please go to the Career Center with Mrs. Starr, and ask to pick up your results.

P3 GOLDEN RULE AWARD (Frazen; 4/5- 4/6)

Students, is there a teacher at Independence who has made a difference for you?  Did this teacher go the extra mile and give you that little extra push to improve your academics?  Please nominate this teacher for the P3 Golden Rule Award.  Forms can be found in the golden folders by the stairwells.  Turn in nomination forms to Mr. Gaspar in B4 or Ms. Frazen in B8 by Friday, April 13th.

Spiritline Tryout Packet Deadline (Rubio; 4/6- 4/9)

Just a reminder that all Spiritline tryout packets are due Monday April 9th to room B25 no later than 3:30pm. Packets will NOT be accepted after 3:30. A tryout packet must be turned in in order to participate in tryout clinics on Tuesday April 10th. Tryout clinics will be held in the dance room at 3:30.
